Como primeira postagem de 2014, o blog decidiu fazer uma pequena homenagem à Marilyn Monroe - estrela de cinema e musa inspiradora de vários artistas e cidadãos comuns. As fotografias selecionadas foram tiradas durante o verão de 1962, o último da atriz. Entre os dias 9 de junho e 18 de julho, Marilyn esteve na praia de Santa Monica, Califórnia, junto ao fotógrafo George Barris, responsável por outras icônicas fotos de Monroe. Na época, ela tinha acabado de fazer 36 anos. Ao olharmos atenciosamente para as fotografias, notamos uma grande mudança - física e emocional - na diva. Mesmo sorrindo, Marilyn parece cansada, visivelmente mais velha e magra. Tudo isso sem perder seu brilho sedutor e seu jeito de criança. Com vocês, algumas das últimas fotos de Marilyn Monroe.
As first post of 2014, the blog decided to make a little tribute to Marilyn Monroe - filmstar and muse of various artists and ordinary citzens. The photographs selected were taken during the summer of 1962. Marilyn's last summer. Between June 9th and July 18th, she was at Santa Monica beach, California, alongside photographer George Barris, who also took other iconic photos of her. In that time, Marilyn had just turned 36. By looking carefully to the photographs, we notice some physical and emotional changes in her. Even smilling, she looks tired, visibly older and thinner. All of this without losing her seductive bright and her childish way. Ladies and gentlemen, now some of the last pictures of Marilyn Monroe.
