A década de 90 foi uma época divertida e alegre, não concordam? Eu não era nascida ainda no colorido começo da década, mas estou acostumada a ver algumas coisinhas relacionadas a ela em revistas de moda e programas de televisão - eu nasci em 1998. Eu gosto de escutar algumas bandas da época, também, como Garbage, Nirvana, Hole e Smashing Pumpkins. Para mostrá-los o porquê da minha quedinha noventista, eu decidi fazer três croquis inspirados nos anos 90. O primeiro representa aquele típico modelo noventista: cabelo comprido e conjuntinho com cropped top em couro. O segundo desenho é mais focado no estilo grunge. E o último tem aquela vibe girly inspirada nos anos 60 que predominou no início da década de 90. Uma época bem retrô, não acham? Ah, como eu amo os anos 90 - afinal é a minha década. Bem, espero que gostem de meus croquis.

The 90s were a very funny and cheerful time, don't you agree? I hadn't been born yet in those colourful early 90s - I was born in 1998 - but I'm used to see so many stuff related to that in some fashion programmes and magazines. I also enjoy listening to some 90's bands such as Garbage, Nirvana, Hole and Smashing Pumpkins. To show tyou the reason why my little crush on this decade I decided to make three fashion sketches inspired in the 90s. The first one represents that typical 90's model: the long hair and the outfit with a cropped top in leather. The second drawing is more focused in the grunge style. And the last one has that 60's girly influence with bright colours that predominated in the early 90s. A very retro time, don't you think? Oh, how I love the 90s - after all it is my decade. Well, I hope you like the my sketches.

Não sei se todos vocês sabem, mas um dos meus hobbies prediletos é desenhar croquis de moda - futuramente, pretendo cursar moda e artes plásticas. E ultimamente ando desenhando muito. Por causa dos exames escolares, há algumas semanas, tive que dar um pequeno break nos desenhos. A inspiração acumulou e agora eu estou desenhando todos os dias, praticamente. Durante o final de semana, algo vintage e inspirador me chamou a atenção: o foxtrot, dança de salão típica dos Estados Unidos e, que aparecia muito em filmes na old Hollywood - lembram dos filmes estrelados por Ginger Rogers e Fred Astaire? Os vestidos de foxtrote são geralmente leves e soltos para facilitar os movimentos na hora da apresentação. Confesso que me inspirei muito na Ginger para fazer o terceiro croqui - até que ficou parecidinha com ela, né? Então, o que acharam dos meus desenhos? É a primeira vez que os mostro aqui. I don't know if you all know, but one of my favourite hobbies is to draw fashion sketches - I hope to study fashion and plastic arts someday in the future. And lately I've been drawing so much. Because of the school exams, some weeks from now, I had to give a little break in the sketches. The inspirations became bigger and bigger, then now I'm drawing everyday. During the weekend something very vintage and inspiring caught my attention: the foxtrot, kind of ballroom dance developed in the U.S. during the 10s, which became very popular in the 30s. The Foxtrot dresses are usually very comfortable to facilitate the movement in the presentation. I confess that I got inspired by Ginger Rogers to make the third sketch - and the others too.
