No começo de tudo, The Beatles era apenas mais uma banda formada por garotos que queriam ser Elvis Presley. Era o final do perfeito anos 50, quase década de 60 e o rock n' roll era o ritmo musical que mais crescia no mundo. Foi em 1956 que John Lennon formou, com alguns amigos, a banda The Quarrymen. Os meninos da banda - John, Paul, George, Pete, Stuart ... - tinham muita atitude e idolatravam o Rei do Rock. Portanto vestiam jaquetas de couro, calça jeans e topete. Faziam sucesso com as meninas e chegaram a ser um grupo bem conhecido em Liverpool. Em 1960, a banda se chamaria The Beatles e com a chegada de Brian Epstein, como empresário, o grupo passou a usar terninhos. Mas isso é assunto para outro post. Selecionei um cover dos Beatles, de 1964, cantando Roll Over Beethoven do mestre Chuck Berry.
In the begin of all, The Beatles was just another rockabilly band, formed by some English boys who wanted to be like Elvis Presley. It was in the late 50s, almost 60s and the rock and roll was the most famous musical rhythm. It was in 1956 that John Lennon created the band, The Quarrymen, with some friends, of course. The band members had a lot of attitude and worshiped the King of Rock. So they used to wear leather jackets, denim trousers and pompadour hair. They also were a hit with the girls and became very famous in Liverpool. Their destiny changed in 1960, when Brian Epstein became the manager of the band, then they started to wear suits.
