Ícone vintage dos anos 60, a cantora francesa de yé-yé, France Gall é famosa por seu estilo girly doce e seu jeitinho de menina. Nascida Isabelle Geneviève Marie Anne Gall, em Paris, aos 16 anos ela já era uma estrela e uma inspiração para muitas garotas francesas. Com o seu corte de cabelo chanel, franjinha típica da época, uma voz de menininha e minivestidos, ela conquistou seu país - e depois, a Europa. Naquela época toda menina queria parecer-se com France - e bem, isso até nós, as moderninhas, gostaríamos, né? Intérprete de muitas letras de Serge Gainsbourg, em 1966, France causou polêmica ao gravar a música Le Sucettes (pirulitos, na tradução) aos 18 anos de idade. Com isso, cortou relações com o famoso compositor francês, que antes era seu colaborador. Com o passar do tempo, France deixou seu cabelo crescer e adotou um estilo menos infantil - afinal, a garotinha adolescente que apareceu no início da década de 60, já havia crescido e tornado-se uma jovem adulta. Continuou sendo amada pelas fãs, só que agora, também, pelas revistas de moda - tanto que até foi capa da Elle française em 1968. Born Isabelle Geneviève Marie Anne Gall in Paris, by the age of 16 she was already a star and an inspiration to many girls de France. With her blond chanel haircut with bangs, a thin voice and mini dresses she won her country - and then all of Europe. Every girl in that time would love to be like her - well, even we the modern girls would like to.
